Community Mediation & Restorative Services, Inc believes training is an effective strategy as we seek to develop the capacity of our community to respectfully resolve conflict and repair harm. We collaborate with other mediation and restorative parties to create more opportunities for people to participate in transformative, skill-building experiences.

30-Hour Civil Mediation Training

Join us for a 30-hour Civil Mediation training. We hope to promote alternative conflict resolution in our community. Come learn and develop skills for your communication and work toolbox that include: determining interests, recognizing goals and positions, framing and re-framing issues, breaking through impasses, identifying power imbalances and learning to be neutral in difficult situations.

Scholarships available upon request.

Training dates are January 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th.
